Home KAC Balimunsi Philip

My name is Balimunsi Philip Sekito. My first name means 'Earthly wonders' and the last name is the name of my clan. I was born in Jinja on the 20th June 1989. Winners are not those who never fail, but those who never give up. I 'Earthly wonders', Balimunsi started schooling in 1996 and from that time I was interested in fine art. My father died when I was still young and I had to look after myself. I made cheap art works like cards and simple drawings in order to buy scholastic materials and to have something for lunch.

In 2003 I joined secondary education and Mbikko Brass Band, which changed my academic life. I was very much challenged to develop my talents and I took part in different Fine Art Competitions. Winning some medals and certificates.
' Tomorrow belongs to people who prepare today' is one of my motivations to work hard and to engage my self. 2009 was my year of happiness because my name went on scene as the school's best performer, hardworking and focused with a clear vision, propelled with my winning of the 'Youth Alive' medal and certificate as the best run-up Fine Artist at both regional and national level.I still have to explore my real talents and the way I want to express the great gifts of life. I am very happy and grateful that I can go to Makerere Kyambogo University. To see further than my eyes can look and by going I will find better tools.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
